We take pride in offering meals that are both nourishing and comforting. All meals and snacks are prepared in accordance with food safety and nutritional guidelines, including accommodations for dietary restrictions when possible. A registered dietitian will review and approve our menus to ensure they meet the needs of our residents and participants.
Our kitchen practices follow the standards set for Family Type Homes and adult day programs in New York State. Meals are served in a relaxed, home-style setting — and yes, we believe in second helpings and beautifully set tables.

Every person in our care has the right to be treated with dignity, respect, and compassion. We follow New York State’s guidelines for Social Adult Day Care participants and Family Type Home residents, ensuring that all individuals are informed of their rights and supported in making their own choices. These rights include the freedom to participate in activities, the right to privacy, the ability to refuse services, and protection from abuse or neglect. A copy of these rights is reviewed with each resident or participant (and their representative, when applicable) upon admission.
🚨 Emergency Preparedness
The safety and well-being of our residents and participants is our highest priority. We maintain an emergency preparedness plan in accordance with New York State requirements. This includes fire safety procedures, emergency contact protocols, and contingency planning for weather-related events or unexpected closures. Emergency drills are conducted at regular intervals, and necessary information — such as emergency contacts, physicians, and preferred hospitals — is kept up to date and readily accessible.
